Meet Cyso at Slush 2026: digital sovereignty and the European cloud

Every November, Helsinki fills up with founders, investors and enough ambition to keep the city warm despite itself. This year, Cyso will be there too, on 18 and 19 November, ready to talk cloud, sovereignty and everything in between with anyone who'll have us.
Why we're going to Slush Helsinki
Slush has earned its reputation as the most founder-focused event on the continent. Over 12,000 attendees, tens of thousands of meetings, and a guest list that leans heavily towards the people actually building things rather than talking about building things. That is the crowd we're after.
We're not going to Helsinki to hand out lanyards. We're going to find the forward thinkers, the ones asking who can touch their data and where their infrastructure really sits, and have a proper conversation about it.
Who we want to meet
If you're thinking seriously about digital sovereignty, moving workloads to a sovereign cloud, or simply getting out from under a vendor contract that no longer makes sense, come and find us.
Vendor lock-in is the thing most teams notice too late, usually when the renewal lands and the exit costs turn out to be the whole point of the pricing. We'd rather talk about it before that. Bring the awkward questions. What happens to our data, who has legal reach over it, and what would it actually take to leave. Those are the good ones.
About the name
For anyone wondering, "slush" has three meanings, and we suspect the organisers intended all three. It is partly melted snow, the grey, wet stuff that gets into your shoes the moment you step outside. It is also a sweet, icy drink, the kind that turns up at conference bars when someone decides plain coffee won't do. And, less flatteringly, it is a word for overly sentimental talk.
Helsinki in November will deliver on the first meaning without much help from us. We're told the days are short enough that "daylight" becomes a technicality rather than a promise. On the second, we expect a slush machine or two at the bar, and we won't be turning it down. The third we will try to avoid. Cyso isn't in the business of sentimental talk. We'd rather show you a checklist, a case study, or an honest answer to a difficult question about lock-in.
