What is the Transactional Email Service?
The Transactional Email Service is a developer-focused email platform for sending automated messages from your applications and websites—password resets, order confirmations, system notifications, and user verifications. Send via REST API or SMTP relay, with white label operation that keeps vendor branding out of your communications.
Running on redundantly distributed infrastructure across multiple Netherlands locations, Cyso Cloud manages its own hardware with complete environmental control.
As a 100% Dutch-owned company with no external investors, decisions prioritise European values and GDPR compliance. The platform serves as a European alternative to Mailgun, Amazon SES, and other international providers. Unlike many email services, we don’t add tracking pixels or modify your messages unless you request it. You control data retention policies, with options to archive messages to external Object Storage providers, maintaining complete ownership of your communication data throughout its lifecycle.

FAQ about our Transactional Email Service
Understandable! And we fully support this. We distinguish between meta-data and message data. Both components can be set separately. Meta-data is stored for 1 to 30 days. For message data, you can choose not to store the data or to store it for 0 to 30 days.
Message data and message logs can also be stored in an Object store of your choice.
Cyso Cloud maintains ISO 27001 and NEN 7510 certifications, meeting important information security standards whilst operating entirely within European data protection frameworks. Learn more about our security framework in our Trust Centre.
Our service is accessible both via a traditional SMTP service and via a modern REST API. For incoming email, the service can also be used for routing to webhooks.
If you own your own IP addresses, you can use our service to send emails to cold leads. In all other cases, it is not allowed to send such emails from our platform.
The Transactional Email Service is built and set up in such a way that it is completely white-label.
Our entire infrastructure is hosted and managed by our own Cyso Cloud. Everything is under our own management and located entirely in the Netherlands, within certified data centers of Global Switch and Equinix.
All 3 protocols are supported and are even mandatory.
We do not make any standard additions to the emails. However, we do offer the possibility for open and click tracking.
