Bring your own IP (BYOIP)

Estimated time to read: 1 minute

It is possible to use your own IP addresses for outgoing e-mail. For this service you have to provide a small VPS, at a place where outgoing port 25 is allowed. This VPS will hold all the IP addresses that you would like to use for sending e-mail.

Challenges

Please note and know that using your own IP addresses comes with its own unique challenges. If you are not aware of these challenges then you might want to reconsider. Most of these challenges are similar to getting a dedicated IP address on our platform - see the chapter below this one.

We will charge a one-time setup fee and recurring monthly fee for BYOIP. The set-up fee is dependent on the amount of consultancy you require and the volume you send.

Requirements

Still interested? Please consider the following requirements:

  1. An Ubuntu VPS with 2 CPU, 4 GB RAM and minimal disk space
  2. Allow ingress traffic on port 22 and 5000 from 93.94.226.32/27
  3. Allow all egress traffic on port 25
  4. Add our SSH key (to be received via e-mail)

After you've taken care of these requirements, let us know the public IP address we can use to connect to and which IP addresses you would like to use to send from. We will perform the necessary configuration within 7 working days, and once completed, the IP addresses will be added to your account.
